5.2 Design & Engineering Professionals
Architects, structural engineers, and interior design consultants receive project design briefs, site information, and specifications as needed to develop your project plans.
5.3 Permitting Authorities
Building permit applications submitted to Marion County Building Services, the City of Ocala, or other permitting authorities include required property owner information, project descriptions, and design documents. Approved permit plans become public records under Florida law.

5.5 Legal Requirements & Dispute Resolution
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or in connection with our rights under construction lien law, contract enforcement, or dispute resolution. 8. Project Photography & Portfolio
LSB Construction documents completed projects for portfolio and marketing use. By executing a Construction Contract, you grant LSB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to photograph and feature the completed project in our marketing materials without identifying your personal information or specific address. If you prefer your project not be featured, notify us in writing before substantial completion.
9. Data Retention
- Active client project records — retained for the project duration plus 10 years, consistent with Florida’s construction statute of limitations and the 10-year structural warranty period under the Florida New Home Warranty Act
- Signed Construction Contracts and Change Orders — retained for 10 years after project completion
- Permits, inspection records, and certificates of occupancy — retained permanently as public record references
- Lien waiver documentation — retained for 7 years
- Financial and payment records — retained for 7 years as required by Florida and federal tax law
- Project photographs — retained indefinitely for portfolio use
- Consultation inquiries that did not result in a project — retained for up to 2 years
- Website analytics data — retained in anonymized form for up to 24 months
10. Your Privacy Rights
- Access — request a copy of personal information we hold in our client and project records
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
